The Brazilian influence of this client can be seen in the rich textures and bright colors of this mountain retreat. Varying from the traditional "mountain" style is becoming more common. The tastes of the client were clean and contemporary.

Mixing patterned and solid fabrics helps to bring warmth to the space. Using both Colorado Buff smooth and Utah Buff pillowed sandstone for the fireplace surround maintained the natural element of the mountains while working to tie the design together. Minimal draperies were used to soften the space while enhancing the view.
